About Co-Author Asia Maddrey
Asia Maddrey is the founder and CEO of The Lightbulb Experience, LLC, a growing brand that provides professional developmental training for teens and young adults pursuing new heights in education and entering the workforce. Asia travels to high schools, universities, community centers, and other community-based organizations to host seminars and provide workshops on interview skills, résumé writing, and goal setting, among other professional services.
Asia holds a bachelor’s degree in media and communications from SUNY College at Old Westbury and a master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in human resources management and a minor in marketing from Mercy College. Currently working as an HR professional, Asia is a proud member of the Society for Human Resources (SHRM) and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
Asia is a daughter, sister, friend, soror, and, most importantly, a woman of God growing daily. At the blessed age of twenty-seven, she aspires to impact lives, touch hearts, and travel the world. She approaches life with a positive attitude and looks at everything as a teaching moment or learning experience. Asia is happy with life and is trusting her process using everyday as another opportunity to be the best version of herself and dance like no one is watching.
